Hi again,
Well…a little about me…
I’m a mum of 5. My babes a re mostly grown , so I love the idea of creating work related travel opportunities, whether it be to workshop in person, or sing and play, or simply holiday, taking my business with me on line.
I have a degree in Creative Cross Arts which I received in 2002, having returned to Uni at 36, after almost a 20 year break and many children. I spent the years between involved in ministry, co-ordinating music for International Conferences, weekly services and some speaking, as well as finding lots of innovative ways to teach my children and create a life of beauty. A chronic writer and compulsive journaler, I have long been fascinated with life and all it’s workings, and a deep thinker, detached observer and documentor. In some ways , I am like a scientist. I’ve analyzed, experimented and recorded results of my application, using myself as my own guinea pig.
Being someone who loves and engages in many of creative modes, I found that I developed a great interest in crossing over between various Arts practices, and even ‘disciplines’. this is why I loved my degree so much, and why I received Awards for Acadamic Excellence. I started to see the same fascination for ‘cossing over’ in life everywhere. I wanted to make books that one could hear, and write works that were visual art, as well as tactile and physically interactive. And I love to think, and ponder, understand and apply what I learn to create on purpose, something uniquely wonderful.
What all this led to, was a program I call Creative Thinking Technology, becasue I began to see how the ‘games’ I played with myself were actually opening my ability to conceive and imagine and believe. I started to appreciate the Creative force within me and develop a confidence in my ability to proactively design my life, as well as be able to ‘tackle’ whatever came into my world with an assurance that made change exciting and exhilerating, instead of daunting and disorienting. I set out intentionally to become comfortable with the feeling of being ‘uncomfortable’ and out of my comfort zones, because I became to addicted to the process of personal expansion.
I began to correlate the characteristics of an optomistic outlook and generous attitude to specific creative modes of thinking. And I also could see, that we are born with it all! It is educated and indoctrinated into dormancy.
Well, I have come to awaken! I desire to remind people of the immensity of who they are, and to shine the light of aspects of themselves that they had almost forgotten were there.
We are all creators, and as such, extremely creative. When something isn’t practiced, like an unused muscle, it goes through degrees of deterioration, contracting finally into atrophy. With stimulation, and engagement, it expands. Thinking processes do the same.
What I saw develop in me as a result of my creative outlook, and what I believe I can bring to you, and your people are the following:
- Creative problem solving skills
- Multiple possiblities for ‘impossible’ situations
- A ‘can do’ , ‘too easy’, attitude that basically loves challenge
- Flexibilty and adaptability, and henve openness to change
- Deep appreciation and ability to give of oneself genuinely.
- Relationship building ,trust and healthfully team oriented.
- Self awareness and personal assurance of good choices. Healthy boundaries.
- A high energy vibe that generates good feeling and positive outlooks
- A confidence in one’s ability to improvise ‘in the moment’.
- An exciting and eager attitude toward re-conceptualizing and openness to explore new ideas.
- An air that fosters belief in others in their own capability, which leads to improved performance and personal productivity and growth.
- The development of deep personal passion motivating people from within to create, rather than compete.
- Turns ‘downs’ into ‘ups’ and uses them for progress.
- The Authentic Self is liberated as confidence grows, bringing out the beauty in all.
Learning thru multi sensory play and music is profoundly effective. It increases retention, affects and lifts the soul, not just the intellect, and creates bonding. Having FUN is a great way to learn and a great way to live.
PLAY is the best way to WORK
This is what I’m about.
