I was working with Rev Michael Bernard Beckwith’s Visioning process this week. For those who have had experience with rev. Beckwith’s work on this process will understand the profound experience of truly understanding what it means to ALLOW the Creator to work on your life. With many other works I intellectually understood what that meant but it wasn’t until I studied his work that I truly ‘got it’. I made a sacred agreement with God the Creator to disengage and let go of my control and ALLOW and say a sacred ‘YES’ to universal plans for my life.
We all have drama in our lives and our EGOs feed on that drama to stay alive. When you make that sacred commitment to let go believe me your strength will be tested. Yesterday I got such a test and believe me my ego did everything in its egoistical power to get me to ‘re-act’ to this letter I received in the mail that totally had ‘drama’ written all over it. And believe me did it take some yielding to spirit to get myself centered again and remind myself why I am here, to play other people’s drama or to live an authentic life with Creator at the reigns. The heart answer was simple; my life has changed since I opened up my heart to see that there are more here that matters.
When the visioning process arrives at its last step, Rev. Beckwith talks about gratitude. Believe me, when you have inner ears and you listen to spirit’s message to you, your heart will melt with gratitude for the incredible LOVE that is outpouring into your heart from the divine. Every hurt, every wound heals instantly. It is like sweet icing to your soul when you FEEL this gratitude oozing like honey within your heart.

Have a wonderful day and month.
Happy July 4th and sending out hugs and love to everyone.

Much gratitude
Elizabeth

There is so much going on these days do you feel overwhelmed?

Challanges and issues we face emotionally, spiritually, physically….you might think when will all these changes stop?

How can we consistently keep at it and stay in a grounded state to handle these changes?

Do you feel like you should give up? why face all this?

Tired?
First let’s just focus on what we do have and give deep gratitude for this that we do have. Next let us not do all this changing alone. Find like minded people who will understand the changes you are going through and could help you through it without judgment. Third, know that others are going through many changes themselves, and we are all in it together. What I am grateful for is that we are making steady progress towards a better state of the world. If you focus on the implosion of what is happening to the down spiraling economy, health system, political warfare, your finances, job loss, the oil spill that is spreading, our already stressed environment…the list goes on…think about all this and you can get dizzy from FEAR, freeze in place and feel petrified about the bleak future. Or is it a bleak future? Maybe it is about to just change, and we are in the ‘spin’ cycle, only we don’t know how long this ‘spin’ cycle will be and we are anxious and feel un-settled, uncertain of what is to happen to us and our world.
These days even with consistent work to stay positive it seems like every day we face challenges that try to tear our motivation down and you might think, when does this all end?
I do realize that it is part of the journey, and I do realize it takes much strength to keep at it. And so it is, right now we must stick together and share our energies to get through this, know that we are not alone in our journey, whatever it may be. Each of us face many different issues/challenges according to what we must learn in this lifetime and none is more important than the other, each of our journeys are important our own spirit. I can just assure you that when we share our spirit with others through gratitude and service it makes the journey, the challenges and all of it much more worthwhile, don’t give up!
This journey is what LIFE is and let’s be grateful for this LIFE and what we face. Many people are grateful with the little they have; some of us have much more when we put all things in perspective. Let’s remember to always have that inner sight.
Much gratitude
Lets take more than a moment and give her the respect and honor she deserves to put up with all the abuse and lack of consideration on humanity’s part. Also, take a moment to send her love and a deep appreciation to let her know you are aware of the past abuse and you are taking ACTION and DOING what is necessary to clean up the mess, be eco friendly, and live a more gentle and earth friendly life.
Below is a special poem dedicated to Mother Earth on this her special day…

Experiencing the Love
She wraps her gentle touch around your heart…
She breathes her song into the flowing vibrations of your being….
She dreams with you in the night….
She smiles in you as you wake…

Her touch is the softness of a Rose…..
Her eyes are the passion of your soul…..

She eagerly waits for you to see her…
….to acknowledge her presence…

She’s in your every breath if you’ll allow her…..
She in your every thought if you will her….
She’s in your every moment if you free her…

As you embrace her you waken to a new beginning…
As you sense her you are born into a wave of eternal joy…
As you accept her you will become her……

The flame she carries for you is eternal…
…it’s unconditional….if you’ll just let her…

…now do you see her?
Unveil her beauty within you….
She is timeless…
She is priceless…

Many deny her, and yet she patiently waits….
…she knows the cures to many wounds…
…healing to all suffering….
….embrace her…..feel her…touch her….
…..inhale her essence…..

Without her you give nothing….
Without her you receive nothing…
Without her you become nothing…..you are nothing….

She is the one you’ve been waiting for…
…wishing for….
And yet…she’s been with you, in you…. all this time….
…no …no…not wasted time….
Now….now, live now….ask her in….its never too late…..
….she knows you dear one and now you know her…..

…now teach another to see her in them……
…she is created in them as in you…..
….if you see her in you….you will see her in them….
….one by one….we will see each other with her…..
…each of us is a beautiful Rose blooming in eternal beauty….
…radiating her sweet fragrance……

Love…..from the beginning….with no end…..

Happy Earth Day 2010
As I observe the world around me and the escalating chaos, I can sit in that moment and feel how lucky I am to have so much comfort. Many aspects of my comfort I often take for granted until I read about the struggles others face to meet their everyday needs. This ‘gratitude’ I feel empowers me to place my energy into breathing in the challenges I may be facing. It empowers me to evaluate and check my motivations and state of being, am I complaining too much? Yes, sometimes it is certainly difficult to go through challenges that are beyond your control and I can only walk through it and learn whatever I can to become a better version of myself so I can mature enough to handle it better in the future.
The meaning of ‘gratitude’ evolves. These past few weeks I’ve have been unable to blog and what held me back was feeling guilty to write about ‘gratitude’ when I couldn’t feel it in my being. I wanted to contribute to my readers and continue to empower those around me, but I felt stuck, I felt deflated, I felt void. So, I just sat silently until today. Even now it seems a little challenging but sat and allowed this feeling of gratitude wash over me when I read about all the people stuck in Europe due to flight cancelations, an outcome of mother earth’s recent shifts in Iceland. I saw pictures of people sleeping in transit areas, for days! Considering this, I felt I am very lucky to only face minor irritations while these souls have to go through much trouble.
I know that ‘gratitude’ is not just an attitude it is a deep feeling that I am cultivating everyday and it does empower me even in the hardest moment. When we have to stop and just consider what really matters.

So February 2010 has almost completed its stay. I appreciate all the ups, downs, zigzags and of course the perfect flow of universal conspiracy. While many contemplate their frustrations and challenges in this economy, a group of motivated individuals will be gathering to train their mind on living successfully despite their circumstance and environment. They have decided to take conscious control of their life and make the effort to gather as a group to generate a positive environment once a week to support each other and nourish each other. It takes consistent practice of the same action to make it a HABIT and instead of going at it alone why not do it with a group and stick with the plan. Just like many sign up for diet and exercise programs, these warriors are going to focus on building up their mental muscles and feed their soul some ‘light’ food!
Included in this success plan will be time to focus on an attitude of gratitude as well. Many participants are already proud owners of the BLUE gratitude earth marble and they carry it with them every single day to remind them to appreciate their daily blessings.
If you are in the Maryland, Virginia or DC areas, please consider joining these MIND-BODY-SPIRIT warriors led by my good friend Glenn Garnes.
So, start the next month out with a positive attitude!
Here are the details and the link to check-out.
The Abundance Gathering

And dont forget to smile today. Sending you LOVE, PEACE, JOY, HAPPINESS and tons and tons of LAUGHTER!!!!

I was very impressed to see many people exercise immense patience as they waited for snow ploughs to clear their neighborhoods in the Washington DC area after being hit by the Blizzard of 2010. Of course there were people out there who were not so neighborly piling up snow in other people’s yard but the good nature of most Washingtonians balanced of the spurts of negative behavior.
What will amaze you are all the details that come into play…..taking care of homeless, elderly people who cannot shop for food like most people, transporting those needing dialysis and chemotherapy. One neighborhood street that was not ploughed had all the neighbors come out and shovel the snow because one of their community members needed chemotherapy treatment and needed to drive out. They put their driveways aside and came out to help their neighbor. Many others were helping elderly neighbors shop and shovel for them.
We MUST appreciate those who are working tirelessly and cannot stay home like some of us in the warm heated homes, the emergency workers, the snow plough operators, Metro rail and bus and the list goes on. Yes, the power company employees working tirelessly to restore power.
When a storm hits us we get to NOTICE how many comforts and conveniences we take for granted in our everyday life. After shoveling and having aches and pains we must be very grateful for the arms and legs and health we have to do what we need to do.
So in this wintery blizzard of 2010, round 2 is still ongoing here in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia areas, let’s really appreciate all the creature comforts we experience every single day that we may not NOTICE so easily.
Stay warm….
Have you noticed that when we think with our mind we rationalize and explain what we SEE instead of what we BELIEVE? However, when we feel with our heart we tend to believe with our soul with faith on what we BELIEVE instead of what we SEE?
Of course teachers and sages of ages past have been writing and teaching this very concept but how many of us really get it?
I love this quote “Gratitude is the memory of the heart” because to be grateful we must ‘think’ with our heart. We become instantly more compassionate and more loving and giving. When the news of Haiti became known to us I am sure we were feeling and ‘thinking’ with our heart. Immediately our own concerns and worries seem to fade away as we step into the horrific experiences our brothers and sisters were experiencing. We wanted to do something even if it was a small token of our money or prayers.

Take this response and compare it to the reactions we have to our circumstances and our challenges and ask sincerely if we are ‘thinking’ with our mental faculties or ‘thinking’ with our heart. I assure you that when you go with the heart it is much easier to remember the blessings in our lives even in these of most challenging days. Be certain that most of us face this challenge with you. We connected as one humanity during the recent earthquake in Haiti, as so also remember with your heart that this very same humanity is going through many of the everyday challenges you and I are going through as well. None of us are alone in these times of heart challange. With feelings of gratitude comes the LIGHT of HOPE. HOPE is being optimistic in the worst of times because you ‘think’ with your heart, you BELIEVE.

So take a moment and explore your heart memories and you will see that I speak the truth and we can stay hopeful and peaceful as we share these times together.
Much gratitude for all of you
Elizabeth
As we celebrate this Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 18th, 2010, and remember the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, does our hearts not open up in gratitude for all that we have and suffer to share the pain of those that have lost all that they have?
I have written previously when the heart opens the tears flow in joy to connect with our divine. As we watch we are very appreciative of the men and women who are on the ground to rescue those still buried alive, to bury those who have departed, and to feed, clothe and shelter those alive with shock and agony.
Are we not humbled as we see the many facets of what is happening here? As you say grace at your meals can you not feel the hunger of those in Haiti and around the world with no food to eat? As you cuddle in warm beds do you not feel the cold hard ground our brothers and sisters sleep on? As we hug our beautiful children and know that they are safe do we not think about all the mothers who cry with empty arms for their child has been lost to them. At these very same moments we appreciate and give gratitude for the food we eat, the warm bed we sleep in and the loving arms of our children around us. It is in moments like these tragedies that we MUST reflect upon our thoughts about what happens around us, to know we share a common universe, a common humanity.
We have the freedom to use our prayers and meditation to uplift those who suffer and appreciate the many hands that are serving in Haiti and around the world to provide physical assistance to these our suffering brothers and sisters of the world.
Let us not just give our money to assist the tragedy in Haiti but to send love and light through our thoughts to the victims and the men and women who are working in the frontlines to assist the people of Haiti. Our positive thoughts of gratitude, of hope are as powerful as any material assistance we can provide.
Let’s hold vigil in our hearts to help those in Haiti and around the world while we deeply appreciate the abundance we all experience this day.
Much gratitude
Many of us have already contemplated the changes we need to make in our lives. Many of us are asking what this year will be like, the same as last? Better? Worse?
The spiritual sages of old will advise us not to become ‘attached’ with the outcome. Be the best in this present moment and all the best moments will add up to make the best year, the best decade, the best century, the best…life. It is true that without the tough and challenging times we cannot contrast or appreciate the good times. It is also true that life is only 10% of what happens to us and 90% of how we respond. Everyone has their own impression and interpretation on these life lessons and we all describe it through the eyes of our experience.
No matter how we forecast the future that lies ahead this year, we must take accountability here and now on the responses we make on our current situation. All of us are struggling in some area or another, and these stepping stones placed in our lives are not meant to be destructive but it is there to allow us to get to the next level of understanding, spiritual understanding. You might say how could that be? Financial struggles, loss of employment, divorce, death, stress, poverty, sickness…the list goes on. It is subtle but the message and lesson is there in every experience. These days everyone feels it.
These life situations all drive us to ask; why are we here? What is my life’s purpose? Is my LIFE meaningful?
It could be a lesson to just change one’s attitude towards life, maybe it is just to learn about one’s self, maybe to understand that the purpose is in the journey itself. It is different with every person.
One thing is for sure, giving thanks amidst these struggles creates a new positive and uplifting energy. If we can agree to focus on this energy by remembering to give gratitude whenever possible each day I believe 2010 will be a super year for all of us.
The Blue marble family ended 2009 with gratitude mania hosted by a dear friend Glenn Garnes in Maryland. As a token of gratitude to all blue angels who hosted this year a short video was created, please view it here
As we experience this holiday season and come to a conclusion of another year let us allow ourselves to be filled with gratitude for healing to occur in every area of our lives. Stress is absolutely high around the holiday seasons with many demands on every individual.
Enjoy the season but as we wind down the year and conclude and close many aspects that need closure, allow time to deal with those issues and time for healing. Most of all do not judge yourselves even if others do, be gentle especially with difficult circumstances that only you can comprehend. Sometimes we struggle to grasp why people around us are a certain way or why things happen the way they do. The only thing that we can control is our attitude. If you have people hurt you this year, forgive them with gratitude that you have done the best you can to be peaceful. If people walked all over you this year, honor yourself and proceed to deal with how you feel and allow healing to occur. If you have instigated those behaviors, evaluate if you have unfairly done the very things you want to forgive in others. If you have bring those feelings to a conclusion and deal with the parties involved if possible, talk it out and see if healing can occur. Many of what happens cannot be controlled, emotions are very powerful especially when your heart is open, just do the best you can and understand that no one is ‘bad’ or ‘good’, we all have to honor what is ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ within ourselves. Even if we wear masks outside, our true intentions are very clear and open to the ‘self’ we live in so we can fool others but not the spiritual part of us which is living within us.
These last weeks of this year 2009 can be used to evaluate and conclude your thoughts in all areas and build a new beginning of 2010 ushered in with gratitude and anticipation of the best things to come. When you bring something to a conclusion, you create new space and something better shows up. Our thoughts and intentions are very powerful. No matter what be honest within yourself of how you feel about all the matters in your life. Do not waste time judging others and what they have done to you leave that up to the universe and higher powers. Just concentrate on being authentic and real with yourself, since the only person who can change you is yourself, none other.
As for me I am tremendously grateful for my children who fill my life up with so much love and light. This has been a year of tremendous learning. I have met some of the most amazing human spirits this year and I am ever so grateful for them. I have faced some of the most difficult challenges personally as well but by grace I have come through all of them stronger and more alive. The biggest lesson I have learnt at the conclusion of this year is to honor myself and stand up to people when they try to walk all over you, this was big because I am so used to always being silent and ‘allowing’ others to have their way. So, it was a huge victory to finally honor my person.

2009’s last GratitudeMania will be hosted by Blue Angel Glenn Garnes on December 29th 6-8pm at

I am so very excited about 2010. Many new beginnings and wonderful exciting doors are opening up in my life and I am so grateful for this. I want to thank so many people who are in my life that makes me feel ever so grateful to have come this far and you beloved ones know who you are…so thank you!

A very blessed holiday season to you all and a beautiful 2010!!
Much gratitude
